To register your account for faster checkout:
Select “Register” in the top right corner. Once your account has been created, sign in using your email address and password. Registered users can conveniently view previous payments, utility service readings, and detailed usage information for each service, including electric, water, sewer, and gas. 

To Manage Your Account:
Add your utility account(s) under the “Billing Accounts” tab. Use the “eWallet” tab to securely save your payment information and/or set up AutoPay for added convenience.

For One-Time Online Payments:
Use the “Utility Quick Pay” option. Accounts can be located by entering the owner’s name, service address, or account ID. For assistance, please contact City Hall at 660-265-4411.

Apply for New Utilities

The City of Milan provides electric, gas, water, sewer, and trash services to its residents and businesses. Before utility services can be activated, applicants are required to complete a Utility Application and pay the applicable deposit. This requirement applies to both residential and commercial properties. All applicants must present valid identification, such as a driver’s license. Same-day applications must be submitted before 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please note that service connections may require up to a 24-hour period for completion. Rental Properties
Rental properties must pass a city inspection before a new utility account can be approved. Applicants should contact their landlord to ensure the inspection has been completed to avoid delays or denial of service.

Canceling Existing Services

To cancel services, a Cancel Services Application must be completed. To cancel services, customers must provide the Social Security Number associated with the Utility Account and provide a forwarding address. Same-day applications must be submitted before 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Please note that service disconnections may require up to a 24-hour period for completion. If you wish to disconnect a single utility service, please contact City Hall at (660) 265-4411 for instructions.
